Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Software Engineer Co-op Student (AI) for a 4-month contract in Toronto. You will join the AI & Enterprise Applications team to design, develop, and deploy software and AI-powered applications.

You will work with architects and engineers, gain hands-on experience in enterprise apps, ML solutions, and emerging tech, and contribute to real-world business initiatives in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C#, .NET, Java, or similar languages.
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Experience or familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, and modern software development practices.
• Understanding of data analysis, data preparation, model evaluation, and software testing principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, curiosity, and a passion for learning new technologies.
• Interest in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and enterprise technology solutions is considered an asset.

Hourly Range:

$21.00 - $30.00

The actual base salary for this position will depend on several factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education. In addition to base pay, eligible employees may participate in a discretionary variable incentive plan, results are subject to both individual and company performance.
