What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and maintain resilient micro-services and APIs on AWS Cloud
- Operate in a CI/CD Cloud environment, implementing functionality across distributed components and services
- Write high-quality code, adhering to best practices in coding, security, and testing
- Provide on-call support for production systems, including deployments and troubleshooting

What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience developing distributed cloud applications
- Broad knowledge of AWS cloud services, serverless programming, and cloud architectures
- Strong experience with JavaScript-based programming languages such as Node.js and React
- Familiarity with designing and building APIs (REST, GraphQL)

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with continuous integration/delivery and modern development practices and tools (Jenkins, Docker, EC2)
- Understanding of the value of testing, with hands-on experience writing unit, integration, and system tests (Jest, Mocha, Catchpoint)
- Knowledge of relational databases and/or NoSQL (MySQL, DynamoDB)
- Familiarity with caching technologies (Redis) and observability tools (CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration in an agile/scrum environment
