Add to favouritesAs a member of the Engineering, Calibration, and Mechatronics department, and reporting to the Mechatronics Software Development team leader, your primary mandate will be software development for vehicle functionalities. You will be involved from the initial enquiry and understanding of the requirement to the final release of the software.
YOU?LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Develop and simulate algorithms using Matlab/Simulink to produce control solutions for electromechanical environments.
Contribute to delineating future strategies for the development and validation of high-level software layers.
Develop the terms of reference and specifications to support calls for tenders to suppliers of electrical and electronic equipment.
Collaborate with the design, production, purchasing, quality assurance and manufacturing engineering teams, as well as suppliers throughout different stages of product development.
Design software interfaces using a standardized methodology and ensure their continual improvement.
YOU?LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Expertise in embedded programming with Matlab and Simulink.
The ability to integrate electrical, electronic, software, and mechanical principles.
Skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of vehicle communication networks (CAN) and related protocols would be an asset.
French and English proficiency required to ensure international communications.
A bachelor's degree in electrical, software, robotics engineering, or equivalent.
Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience.
