A Senior Full-stack Software Engineer at Secoda will contribute to our customers' experience using Secoda and the overall success of the company. You\'ll collaborate closely with design, product management, engineering, and marketing to shape our onboarding experience, improve our product led growth motion, and influence our product roadmap. What you will be doing
  • Work with designers and product managers on our user onboarding experience
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to understand the opportunities to improve our product led growth funnel
  • Work with the engineering team to increase the scalability of Secoda’s platform (e.g. React component performance and reusability)
  • Work with the customer success team to help diagnose and fix bugs
  • Work with the product team to guide the roadmap towards features that help solve the most important problems for customers
Who you are
  • Have at least 4-6+ years of industry experience working as a software engineer, ideally in a growth engineering capacity
  • A fundamental understanding of some of the core technologies in our stack : React (TypeScript), Python (Django), Postgres, and AWS.
  • Proficiency in communicating complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Are supportive—especially when teammates are faced with new challenges
  • Are able to autonomously figure out the solutions to their challenges
  • Put themselves in the shoes of our users to craft a great experience
  • Value clear and frequent communication
  • Are naturally curious and willing to take a step to learn something they don’t have experience in
  • Feel a great sense of accountability to our users
  • Uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design
Nice to Have
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Building integrations for Modern Data Stack tools, i.e, Snowflake, Looker, dbt

Hybrid Office Policy (Tuesdays, Thursdays + every other Friday)

We have a beautiful office in Liberty Village (109 Atlantic Ave) and work in a Hybrid schedule with Tuesdays, Thursdays and every other Friday as our in-office days. We provide lunch for our team every other Friday.

We believe time together in person is valuable and important. We host ample social opportunities and encourage employees to attend team off-sites and events (dinners and game nights) as well as a yearly 4-day retreat.
