Job summary

Swoon is seeking a Software Developer (Front-End Focused) for a 6-month contract in Toronto, ON. The role focuses on building scalable front-end applications and reusable components, collaborating with cross-functional teams across web, desktop, and mobile platforms.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years of experience, strong problem-solving skills, and hands-on use of AI coding assistants. Bachelor’s degree required. The position is on-site in Toronto.

Qualifications

• Hands-on professional experience using AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Windsurf as part of daily development.
• Strong programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience building scalable, production-level web applications using reusable, component-based architecture.
• Experience with Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and automated testing.
• Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and code reviews.
• Bachelor's degree required.
