About the Role :

Join our Identity & Authentication team at Confluent, dedicated to building engineering platforms and developer abstractions for a secure environment for customers and engineers. As an early career engineer, you will work with a dynamic team to build, scale, operationalize, observe, and secure Confluent products, impacting millions of users worldwide.

What You Will Do :

1. Design and develop authentication and identity management services.
2. Create reliable, self-healing, scalable, and cost-effective processes, ensuring profitability without compromising quality or security.
3. Maintain secure, high-performance backend systems.
4. Develop robust APIs and abstractions for product and feature deployment.
5. Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality code.
6. Contribute to operational readiness and monitoring to meet SLAs.
7. Integrate services with cloud providers like AWS, GCP, and Azure.

What You Will Bring :

1. Passion for software engineering and interest in identity and authentication technologies.
2. Strong programming skills in Go, Java, Python, or similar languages.
3. Understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud computing.
