GHGSat is seeking a lead software developer to guide a team in building impactful software solutions that utilize satellite emissions data. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, particularly in Python, React, and TypeScript, and will foster a culture of inclusive engineering within the team.
Help us build the software layer that brings satellite emissions data to life.
At GHGSat, we use satellites and advanced sensors to detect greenhouse gas emissions with unprecedented precision. But all that data needs to go somewhere—and that's where this team comes in. From the customer-facing app to our APIs and automated reporting tools, this team makes sure our insights are usable, clear, and delivered with care.
We’re looking for a hands-on lead to guide this team through its next stage of growth. You’ll support a group of developers working across the stack, collaborate closely with product and science teams, and help set the tone for a culture of thoughtful, inclusive engineering.
If you’ve led teams before—or are ready for that next step—and care about both the how and the who of building software, we’d love to talk. If you’re someone who’s been historically underrepresented in tech leadership roles, we especially encourage you to reach out. We believe that diverse leadership isn’t just good for culture—it’s essential for building great software.
