The Release Manager (RM) team, part of Amazon's BuilderWorks organization, is responsible for developing technologies that enable Amazon software application teams to dynamically change software configurations and behaviors safely and quickly with minimal operational disruption.
Our software powers mission critical applications across Amazon including the retail website, order fulfillment, Alexa, Kindle, Amazon Video, Prime, Grocery, and others. If you want to be part of a team that makes a difference on an enormous stage, this is it!
We are looking for a customer obsessed, smart, results oriented manager with a strong distributed systems background and experience delivering high performance client/server architectures that scale. You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, delivering on our roadmap goals, and ensuring the operational excellence of our services. You are responsible for managing people's growth and providing career development for the team.

The base salary for this position ranges from $171,400/year up to $286,200/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
