Clio is looking for a passionate Software Development Manager for its CalendarRules team to enhance client intake and marketing strategies in the legal sector. This role combines leadership with hands-on development, supporting team growth while ensuring top-quality technical solutions. We are seeking a passionate and driven Software Development Manager to join our Clio CalendarRules team. This role is available to candidates across Canada, excluding Quebec. If you are local to one of our hubs (Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto) you will be expected to be in office minimum twice per week on one of our Anchor Days.

CalendarRules is a product that automates event scheduling on legal professionals calendars in order to ensure that they know exactly what needs to be done when based on "trigger" events in the case. You will own software development and maintenance of the rules engine. You will provide it as a public API service to CalendarRules customers throughout North America. You will also own internal tooling, making the rules ingestion and subscription management teams lives dramatically better through excellent tooling and time saving workflows. This will make it easier for them to build and maintain the rulesets that drive the rules engine. Finally, you will own the integration of CalendarRules and our core practice management software, Clio Manage, and work to provide our customers with a best-in-class experience using the Calendar Rules API to schedule.

*We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate. Please note there are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.
