Our team is looking for a Software Development Manager that can lead a team building and improving systems that will help Fulfillment Centers (FCs i.e. Amazon Warehouses) around the world to operate efficiently by providing information and insights to FC operators and software services which rely on real time information for planning and staffing. These systems provide aggregate data and help build an end-to-end picture of FC state to help users make key decisions to improve efficiency and staff optimally. These decisions impact delivery of packages to Amazon customers. Your work will directly influence Amazon business and customer promise. As a member of this team, you will get the opportunity to work on highly visible, innovative projects that directly impact the customer experience. You will be involved in all the aspects of the software development cycle including scoping, design, implementation, testing & delivery of your product. The position has great opportunity for growth.
Key job responsibilities
In this position you will partner with product managers, project managers, user experience designers and other teams. A successful candidate will have an established background with strong technical ability, excellent project management skills, great communication skills and motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
