Summary

Lifemark Health Group is seeking a Software Development Manager to join our dynamic Application Services Team. This is a full-time, permanent role reporting to the Vice President of Applications and Security Services. The role involves implementing, managing, and maintaining applications supporting Lifemark’s national operations.

You will lead a large team of developers, oversee the full application lifecycle, and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and user-focused. Collaboration across departments, vendor management, and system architecture will be key responsibilities.

Your Success Measures :

  1. Strategic Leadership : Manage development and maintenance of websites and enterprise applications, providing technical oversight.
  2. Team Management : Plan, organize, prioritize, delegate work, and oversee team results for quality and timeliness.
  3. Architecture & Development : Guide application architecture, UI/UX, database design, and system integration.
  4. Project Execution : Lead multiple initiatives ensuring alignment with goals, schedules, and standards.
  5. Vendor Collaboration : Manage relationships with third-party vendors to deliver scalable solutions.
  6. Continuous Improvement : Research emerging technologies to enhance practices and tools.
  7. Cross-Functional Engagement : Build relationships across departments to align technology with business objectives.

Your Skills and Qualifications :

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years in software/application development, with leadership preferred
  • Strong understanding of application lifecycle, methodologies, and system architecture
  • Proficient in .NET and relational databases
  • Cloud experience, preferably Azure
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
