VNDLY, a Workday company, is a next-generation vendor management SaaS platform designed for procurement executives, talent acquisition teams, suppliers, and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to streamline contingent workforce management. We develop cloud software that simplifies talent sourcing and acquisition across various channels, including staffing agencies, job boards, and freelance management systems. About the Role

This hands-on position places you as a key member of the team building core platform features, critical for ensuring contingent workers are onboarded and their contracts are managed effectively. Expect to work on core features like Jobs, Worker Provisioning, Contracts, Statements of Work, and Integrations. This role demands a unique combination of deep Workday OMS expertise, specifically with XpressO (XO), alongside proficiency in our standard stack: Python (backend) and React (frontend). All of our infrastructure is hosted on AWS.

About You

Ability to collaborate with a thoughtful, highly motivated team to solve complex technical challenges associated with our growing customer base. Responsibilities include feature development, testing, bug fixing, maintenance, and support. We seek a self-starter who thrives on solving technical challenges and is committed to continuous learning. Passion for writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code is critical. We are dedicated to supporting professional growth through diverse learning opportunities. Senior-level candidates will mentor junior engineers and contribute to all aspects of our technology pipeline, including both Workday-specific and standard application development.

Basic Qualifications (Senior)
  • 7+ years software development experience

  • 3+ years working with Workday's OMS technology stack

  • 3+ years writing RESTful web services

  • 3+ years working with relational databases

Basic Qualifications (Mid-Career)
  • 4+ years software development experience

  • 2+ years working with Workday's OMS technology stack

  • 2+ years writing RESTful web services

  • 2+ years working with relational databases

Other Qualifications
  • Experience with XpressO (XO) and the ability to teach this knowledge to other team members

  • Deep familiarity with Workday's release processes

  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git using Bitbucket/GitHub

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Comfortable working with JavaScript frameworks

  • Experience with Python or Ruby, with knowledge of at least one web framework such as Django, Flask, etc.

  • Experience with React.js, HTML, and CSS

  • Knowledge of SaaS applications, SaaS deployment models, and SaaS DevOps

  • Prior experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)

  • Comfortable working in an agile environment


Workday Pay Transparency Statement

T he annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
