We\'re looking for a brilliant Software Development Engineer to spearhead our Sponsored Products and Brands Guidance Integrations (SPB-GI) team. The team owns the foundational infrastructure for SPB agentic experiences, providing a unified entry point for internal and external agentic applications. We design and maintain scalable APIs and orchestration layers that allow agents to reliably connect with first-party and partner systems. Our responsibilities include building durable agent-to-agent communication protocols for discovery, negotiation, and task handoff; lifecycle management for agent sessions; and state management frameworks that allow agents to persist context across multi-step workflows. The team delivers streaming and event-driven integration pipelines to support real-time customizations and integrations with 1P experiences. We also own the infrastructure governance layers including standardized access-control frameworks, data masking and retention policies, rate-limiting, audit logging, and safety guardrails that ensure predictable, compliant agent behavior across environments. To support scale, the team invests in observability platforms for debugging agent-to-agent and agent-to-service interactions, performance optimization of orchestration layers, and telemetry-driven insights. We also extend the platform to external developers and partners by exposing systems safely to empower partners to create new agentic experiences while inheriting all governance, security, and scaling guarantees of the platform. These agentic experiences include personalized insights, guidance, holistically accounting for an advertiser\'s product catalog, performance metrics, and other relevant signals. Examples of surfaces that will leverage the SPB Agent include but not limited to: 1) Personalization for an advertiser\'s experience throughout the Advertiser Console where the SPB Agent will utilize advertiser and page level context to determine how to tailor a full page experience to an advertiser, updating individual widgets with recommendations or filtering capabilities that are most applicable, 2) an AI companion in Next Gen Selling, Seller Central or Seller Assistant that provides a personalized, interactive and automated experience where Selling Partners receive data-backed guidance for growing their business, making autonomous decisions and executing actions on behalf of sellers and 3) AI for Sales pitches that are optimized through the SPB Agent insights.
