DESCRIPTION

As part of the Amazon-wide Amazonian Leadership Experiences team, the Senior Leader Experience Execution Engine team's mission is to enable Amazon leaders implement and operationalize leadership-defined workforce plans, translating strategies into actions. We develop philosophies, mechanisms and products that help leaders to execute and guardrail their workforce plan. A successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and launch of a variety of core product features, designing the system architecture, and promoting code quality and best practices. You are passionate about the customer experience, take pride in building high quality software, and have a demonstrable track record of successfully delivering new features and products. You value collaboration, making data-driven decisions, and can comfortably communicate with others, in both technical and non-technical roles.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary for this position ranges from $114,800/year up to $191,800/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
