Role Summary:
Responsible for defining and implementing quality engineering strategies that support rapid application development utilizing Java, Selenium, and Appium. Focus on all layers of the application stack, applying knowledge of technology and software engineering practices to drive automation adoption within the appropriate phases of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java for web application testing.
2. Design and implement test automation frameworks utilizing TestNG to ensure efficient and scalable test execution.
3. Design & build customized test harnesses for Automation Testing.
4. Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber / Gherkin.
5. Design/Architect test automation framework and develop the new test automation libraries; Tool - Selenium.
6. Develop the Automated Regression Pack.
7. Create and maintain API test scripts using Postman for RESTful web services testing.
8. Design & execute Regression Test Pack using frontend & backend test scripts.
9. Automate the Test Data Management for Lease and Retail contract booking using Automation tools.
10. Design and Develop the Automated solution for Sanity Testing for various repeatable tests.
11. Identify testable events and develop the test cases / test scripts.
12. Identify and capture test data to support the test cases defined by the testing team.
13. Leverage the testing process and test tool kit to create re-usable test assets.
14. Act as one of the team representatives to IT and user groups within relevant testing phases.
15. Test Environment set-up/management, monitoring, and streamline release management to QA Environments.
16. Participate in agile ceremonial meetings with IT owners, business owners, and product or team members.
17. Build and configure new interfaces to support testing activities.
18. Participate in testing, deployment prep, and actual deployment for both retail and commercial phases.
