Software Development Engineer II, Sponsored Products

Key job responsibilities
  1. Work closely with Product, Science, and engineering leaders to design, implement, and deploy applications.
  2. Own the design and delivery of an integral part of a system or application.
  3. Manage and execute against project plans and delivery commitments.
  4. Help hire and develop technical talent for the team.
  5. Create and execute quality plans, project plans, test strategies, and processes for development activities in line with business and project management efforts.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship).
  • 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of experience in the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • 1+ years of experience with big data technologies such as AWS, Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive, Lucene/SOLR, or Storm/Samza.
  • Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
