Join Remitly as a Software Development Engineer II where you will design and build scalable backend services for our Customer Data Platform. You'll engage in all aspects from design to production support, operating independently and owning features end-to-end.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer II (SDE2) to join the Customer Data Platform team within the Identity & Trust organization.

This team builds and operates the systems that manage customer data at scale. Our platform runs on AWS and supports high-throughput, high-availability services that are critical to Remitly’s products and regulatory obligations.

As an SDE2, you will design and build high-quality backend services and APIs across a subset of the team’s systems. You will operate independently in code construction, testing, deployment, and maintenance. You will own features end-to-end, handle challenging problems with clear constraints and trade-offs, and contribute to improving system quality, reliability, and performance.

You Will:

Compensation Details.

The starting base salary range for this position is $124,000-155,000. In Canada, Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
