Software Development Engineer (Android), Transporter Experience (Last Mile)

Our mission is to provide Amazon customers and transporters with a unified, efficient delivery and pickup experience. We aim to eliminate variances and complexities in on-road pickup and attended deliveries, creating a seamless experience for our customers and transporters.

The team provides transporters with knowledge, contextual help, and experience that enhance productivity (Service Time), quality (First Time Delivery Success), engagement (Attrition), and compliance with local regulations.

Interested in developing modern technology to help Amazon deliver packages efficiently worldwide? The Amazon Flex mobile team develops smart, scalable mobile solutions for delivering millions of packages monthly. It’s still Day 1 in the Last Mile Technology space!

Amazon Flex collaborates with crowd-sourced and third-party delivery partners to complete Amazon’s deliveries. Our application integrates with advanced logistics systems, enabling onboarding, scheduling, in-app navigation, and more. As we expand our delivery network, engaging and providing a world-class experience to customers and partners is increasingly critical.

Key job responsibilities

1. Design, develop, test, and deploy products that enable delivery of packages within two hours globally.
2. Conceptualize, design, build, test, and own software systems.
3. Influence the team’s technical direction, working with various technologies.
