The Outbound Execution group, based in Toronto, creates the software that makes it easy for Amazon staff to safely, quickly and accurately perform the most labour-intensive warehouse function: picking the items for your order. Key job responsibilities

The Shipment Data Platform (SDP) team sits at the heart of Amazon's outbound fulfillment flow. We are the interface between Amazon's fulfillment network and the systems that turn a customer's order into a shipment — processing fulfillment requests, coordinating shipment messages, and serving as the trusted platform for shipment data. Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
