Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate Software Development Engineer to join our collaborative team. If you have a strong interest in software development, AI-based tools, cybersecurity, and product quality, we want to hear from you!

In this role, you will demonstrate a solid understanding of the full software development life cycle. You will think like a user to design and implement innovative solutions, quickly adapt to new technologies, including AI tools, and ensure that customer experience quality is maintained.

As an integral member of our development team, you will help shape the future of privacy-focused technology by developing cloud-based solutions dedicated to safeguarding user privacy and enhancing customer experience.

This is a hybrid position based in Waterloo or Toronto, Canada. You must be within a commutable distance to these locations and be onsite as needed, with remote work possible otherwise.

About The Role

• Utilize object-oriented development skills; familiarity with Go, Postman, AWS, Git, and Docker is advantageous.
• Experience with LLMs and AI-enhanced development practices is critical.
• Develop cloud solutions promoting standards, security, and efficiency.
• Build cost-effective, high-performance infrastructure on AWS.
• Create detailed design specifications, testing, and performance guidelines.
• Research and innovate to solve challenging technical problems.
• Contribute as a key player on an agile team.
• Design comprehensive test plans and cases optimized for automation.
