The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a dynamic fast paced and challenging environment and be able to work directly with clients and other CGI team members so communication and presentation skills are equally as key as the proven technical excellence that this candidate must demonstrate.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Quality and Timeliness: Apply software development skills to ensure the team delivers high-quality on-time products.
• Root Cause Analysis: Track down and analyze the root causes of bugs and production issues.
• Attention to Detail: Build reliable fault-tolerant applications with a focus on unit testing and test automation.
• Technical Implementation: Translate acceptance criteria into technical solutions.
• Practical Solutions: Emphasize working software over overly complex solutions.
• Peer Reviews: Participate in peer reviews to ensure alignment with story goals and standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Engage in retrospectives to discuss successes and potential improvements.
• Continuous Delivery: Help maintain a continuous delivery process with minimal downtime.
• Collaboration: Work with various stakeholders including Functional Analysts Product Owners Quality Advocates Solutions Architects and other development teams.
• Autonomy: Provide technical implementations independently.
• Communication: Clearly communicate progress blockers and knowledge gaps.
• Mentorship: Mentor junior team members in both product areas and technical skills.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
