Softline™ Technology Inc. in Toronto, Ontario, invites a senior Oracle/Java developer to translate specifications into robust, tested applications and to work across the software development life cycle with IT professionals.

You will design, code, test, and deploy data-driven solutions, emphasizing REST APIs, Oracle databases, and modern design patterns. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential for enterprise-scale projects conducted onsite in Canada.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a designer and developer in the large-scale multi-client web applications.
• 10+ year of hands-on working experience of Java development with Oracle or SQL database.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience of RestAPI, RESTful WebServices.

Responsibilities

• Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications.

This includes:

• developing detailed programming specifications
• writing and/or generating code o compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.

• Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion and migrations.

• Strong conversion experience in Account Receivable Collection modules
• Strong programming skills in Oracle database, PL/SQL, SQL, XML, Unix shell scripts and Oracle Data Integrator
• Proved business knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Accounts Payable and Inventory Modules of Oracle E-Business
• Great knowledge of Oracle E-Business table structure related to GL, AR, Collections, AP, INV and FND
• Strong knowledge of SQL tuning and using partition tables
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of data warehouse, ETL methodologies and OBIEE
• Demonstrated work experience on Java and Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) will be a great asset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and leadership abilities to be able to oversee the quality assurance of the project from technical perspective

Experience Requirements
