Job summary

Maarut is seeking a seasoned Oracle/Java software developer to translate complex specifications into robust, tested applications. You will design and implement RESTful services, integrate with Oracle databases, and contribute to architecture decisions across multi-client web applications.

The role requires leadership in design reviews, strong problem-solving, and collaboration with IT teams throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale multi-client web applications.
• 10+ years of Java development with Oracle or SQL databases.
• 5+ years of RestAPI, RESTful Web Services experience.
• Knowledge of microservice architecture and enterprise design principles.
• Experience with RAD methodologies and rapid development.
• Strong understanding of security gateways and protocols (JWT, OAuth2, SSL).
• Experience with relational and hierarchical databases and information retrieval queries.

Job description

Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications.

This includes:

• developing detailed programming specifications
  
• writing and/or generating code o compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.
  

Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion and migrations.

Strong conversion experience in Account Receivable Collection modules

Strong programming skills in Oracle database, PL/SQL, SQL, XML, Unix shell scripts and Oracle Data Integrator

Proved business knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Accounts Payable and Inventory Modules of Oracle E-Business

Great knowledge of Oracle E-Business table structure related to GL, AR, Collections, AP, INV and FND

Strong knowledge of SQL tuning and using partition tables

Demonstrated experience and understanding of data warehouse, ETL methodologies and OBIEE

Demonstrated work experience on Java and Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) will be a great asset
