Job summary

Solace Corporation is hiring a Junior Software Developer to join our API & Applications team. You will develop multi-language SDK client libraries (Java, Python, C, C#, JavaScript, Go) powering our event-driven architectures. A key focus is accelerating the Solace Schema Registry and its serialization/deserialization libraries.

You will build libraries, improve the registry, and maintain pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience across the development stack including front-end, back-end and pipeline exposure.
• Passion for developer productivity and eliminating toil through automation.
• Comfortable developing with multiple languages such as Java and Python.
• Experience in all phases of software development including requirements definition, planning, implementation, testing and support.
• A quality-focused mindset that advocates on behalf of the end-user.
• Experience using AI technologies and coding-assisted tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot and Codex.

Responsibilities

• Build new implementations of serialization/deserialization libraries across languages.
• Improve front-end and back-end of the Solace Schema Registry.
• Monitor and develop build and test pipelines for the Solace Schema Registry.
• Contribute to AI workflow development to accelerate the team.

About the Role

Expected Salary Range:

Expected salary range for this role is from $85,000 to $105,000. The final offer within this range will reflect the successful candidate’s skills and experience.
