Job summary

Geotab is seeking a Software Developer Intern to support internal platforms and services, helping improve developer tooling and workflows. The role involves learning from senior developers, collaborating with product design teams, and contributing to architecture and technical evolution of foundational systems.

The internship runs 8–12 months starting January 2027, full-time 37.5 hours/week, with a GEO Launch orientation and a flexible hybrid work model at our Oakville offices in Ontario,

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to quickly understand complex, technical concepts related to internal development platforms.
• Willingness to participate in team discussions and support fellow team members.
• Interest in cloud computing and backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the advancement of Geotab's internal platforms and services.
• Assist in developing and improving internal tooling to streamline workflows.
• Support testing and quality assurance of internal systems.
• Collaborate with senior developers and product design teams on real-world projects.
