General Dynamics Land Systems–Canada is seeking a Student, Software Developer to contribute to software for Light Armoured Vehicles, with flexibility for embedded or desktop development. Qualifications

• Development on Windows CE/Embedded and Linux platforms.
• Proficiency in C or C++ for x86/64, ARM, Motorola, Freescale.
• Familiarity with UML design and model-driven development.
• Experience with serial communication protocols and logging.
• Testing and debugging skills.
• Knowledge of vehicle communication networks (SAE J1939, TCP/IP, UDP).
• Interest in concept/UI/feature development.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Able to meet Anthropometrical Size Requirements for confined spaces.
• Exposure to control theory/mechatronics is a plus.
• Experience in Linux and real-time systems is desirable.
• Understanding of safety-critical standards (ISO 26262/MISRA) and cyber security basics.
