ORBIS Corporation invites students and recent graduates to join a four-month software internship/co-op with mentorship and exposure to the same technologies our developers use.

You will build internal platforms using .NET, ASP.NET, SQL, AWS, Kubernetes, Angular, React, and related tools, while learning from technical experts. The program is competitively paid and may be extended at ORBIS's discretion.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student or recent graduate with proven academic achievement
• Demonstrated experience in software development outside coursework
• Strong communication skills to work with stakeholders and solve business problems using technology
• No previous knowledge of finance required

Our internship program aims to support the development of high potential individuals through an engaging learning experience at a global investment management firm. This opportunity is a competitively paid, four-month internship/co-op with the option to extend at the discretion of Orbis and the student.

What will your responsibilities be?

You will receive one-on-one mentorship to perform your key responsibilities and support your experience. Additionally, you will be using the same technologies that our developers use, working on a meaningful software engineering project guided through interactions with various stakeholders.

Specific projects vary depending on business requirements, however, as an intern you can expect to:

• Build internal platforms using technologies such as .NET, ASP.NET, SQL, AWS, Kubernetes, Angular, React and more (*project dependent)
• Develop algorithms and models to transform raw data into valuable information
• Design, code, test and deploy new system features using industry standard practices and tooling

Your qualifications & experience

What we offer

The base salary for this position will be $6,000 per month.
