Job summary

ITProFound is seeking a Senior Software Developer - Full Stack for a client project in Ontario, with onsite work in Toronto or Guelph. The role focuses on MERN-based development, documentation, security, and governance in a fast-paced Agile environment.

The candidate will contribute to architecture, governance reviews, and knowledge transfer to ensure operational continuity across the project lifecycle. This is a 7-month contract with potential extension, based in Toronto or Guelph, Ontario.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-stack development experience using the MERN stack.
• 4+ years of experience developing, maintaining, and updating technical documentation, including build books, deployment procedures, release management documentation, and operational/support documentation.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and implementing application enhancements and technical improvements, including solutions that comply with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
• Experience collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to ensure solution alignment with functional, technical, security, privacy, integration, and cloud requirements.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

7+ years of full-stack development experience using the MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) technology stack.

4+ years of experience developing, maintaining, and updating technical documentation, including build books, deployment procedures, release management documentation, and operational/support documentation.

Experience designing, developing, testing, and implementing application enhancements and technical improvements, including solutions that comply with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

Experience working in Agile software delivery environments.

Knowledge of IT security best practices and authentication protocols, including OAuth 2.0 and SAML.

Experience updating and maintaining solution design artifacts, models, diagrams, and supporting documentation.

Experience collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to ensure solution alignment with functional, technical, security, privacy, integration, and cloud requirements.

Experience supporting architecture, security, privacy, and governance review processes by providing technical input, documentation, and implementation expertise.

Experience providing knowledge transfer to support operational continuity and future activities.
