Job summary

Softline™ Technology Inc. seeks an experienced ETL Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust data integration solutions. You will leverage Informatica PowerCenter v10.2 and IDMC, with PL/SQL and data warehousing expertise.

The role collaborates with analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality data delivery. The contractor will work in office 3 days per week in Toronto, Ontario, following OPS directives and LRC guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in ETL development with Informatica Cloud (IDMC) and PowerCenter.
• Strong PL/SQL and SQL skills for data extraction, transformation and loading.

To respond to the priorities of the Government of Ontario through the passage of the Bill 5, Protect Ontario by Unleashing Our Economy Act 2025, the resource may be partially assigned to Bill 5 related projects or initiatives on an as needed basis.

The contractor will work in office 3 days per week (40 St. Clair West, Toronto) as per OPS directive and LRC management guidelines

A highly skilled and experienced ETL Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Informatica PowerCenter v10.2 and Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), PL/SQL, and data warehousing, with a strong background in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and cloud migration. This role involves working closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality data delivery and system integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to and support design, development, and maintenance of ETL processes using Informatica Cloud (IDMC).
• Migrate Informatica PowerCentre v10.2 ETL code including embedded SQL and PL/SQL code developed using Oracle 11g and 19c
• Test migrated embedded SQL code and PL/SQL based Stored Procedures.

• Writing complex procedures/pkg/views/scripts to do data de-normalization, data extraction, data transformation(cleansing), and data loading.
• Creating data assets (denormalized) from highly normalized Oracle database, and load the data asset to another type of DBMS (Microsoft SQL DBs, Postgress, etc.)
