Job summary

You will collaborate with analysts and developers in Agile environments, migrating legacy ETL code, tuning performance, and delivering scalable data pipelines for enterprise data warehouses.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of ETL and data warehousing experience.
• Strong Informatica PowerCenter and IDMC experience.
• Advanced PL/SQL and SQL development.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
• Cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Python and Unix shell scripting experience.
• Version control/DevOps with GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jira.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica Cloud (IDMC).
• Migrate PowerCenter ETL code including embedded SQL/PLSQL on Oracle.
• Test migrated SQL/PL/SQL stored procedures.
• Performance tune SQL/PLSQL and resolve ETL issues.
• Load data into data warehouses from multiple sources.
• Develop and validate data pipelines per specs.
• Collaborate with teams during testing and validation.
• Create deployment guides and technical documentation.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum delivery cycles.
• Ensure data governance and security compliance.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ETL Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust data integration solutions. The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in Informatica, PL/SQL, cloud technologies, data warehousing, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and migration initiatives. This role involves collaborating with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions and system integrations in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, support, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica Cloud (IDMC).
• Migrate Informatica PowerCenter ETL code, including embedded SQL and PL/SQL developed on Oracle platforms.
• Test migrated SQL and PL/SQL stored procedures.
• Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning and optimization.
• Conduct root cause analysis and resolve ETL-related issues.
• Execute data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple data sources into enterprise data warehouses.
• Develop and validate data pipelines based on technical specifications.
• Collaborate with project teams during testing, debugging, and validation activities.
• Produce technical documentation, deployment guides, and support materials.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum delivery cycles.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and access control requirements.
• Provide post-implementation support and knowledge transfer.

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of ETL and data warehousing experience.
• Strong experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud (IDMC).
• Advanced PL/SQL and SQL development skills.
• Experience with relational databases including Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
• Experience designing and supporting dimensional data models and star/snowflake schemas.
• Experience with Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Python and Unix shell scripting.
• Version control and DevOps experience using GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Jira.
• Experience with ETL performance tuning, troubleshooting, recovery, and optimization.

Core Competencies

• Software development lifecycle experience using Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
• Technical analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation experience.
• Strong experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Work Arrangement
