Job summary

DRW Montreal is seeking a passionate Software Developer to join our infrastructure team. You will design and build reliable backend services using Python, deploy and operate applications on Kubernetes, and develop automation to improve production deployments.

You will collaborate with engineers to drive scalable infrastructure, design CI/CD pipelines, and work with PostgreSQL and RabbitMQ. A strong foundation in software engineering, testing, and best practices is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3–7 years of experience building and operating software systems.
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating applications on Kubernetes.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with Linux systems.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, testing and best practices.

We are looking for a passionate S oftware Developer to join our infrastructure team. This software-focused role involves building the services, platforms and automation that support our engineering teams and production systems. You will develop reliable backend software, improve developer workflows and help operate scalable infrastructure in apredominantlyKubernetes-based environment.

How you will make an impact

• Designing and building reliable backend services and infrastructure tooling using Python
• Developing and operating applications and services on Kubernetes

• Working with relational databases and message-driven systems, including PostgreSQL and RabbitMQ
• Improving the scalability, reliability, performance and operability of distributed systems
