Job summary

Nokia in Ottawa offers a 4-month software developer co-op internship for winter term 2027. The role focuses on feature analysis, design, implementation, unit testing, and automation of NSP platform features within a hybrid Ottawa setting.

You will prepare design docs, follow best practices, and assist customers by resolving defects, while collaborating within a team. Ideal candidates are 2nd year+ students in Engineering/CS, with hands-on Java development and experience in Docker, Kubernetes,

Qualifications

• Currently a 2nd year+ candidate for a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science in Canada.
• Experience developing, testing, and maintaining software in Java.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Charts and OpenStack.
• Experience with PKI, TLS and authentication concepts.
• Experience with Linux, Vagrant, Git, GitLab, Gradle and Jenkins.
• Familiar with agile methodologies and best practices.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team.

Responsibilities
