Job description

At Paessler, we develop software, specifically PRTG, a network, cloud, and IoT monitoring solution trusted by over 500,000 users worldwide. To enhance and modernize our code base, we are seeking a dedicated team member for a long-term position.

Why this position is important: Our software gathers performance data from various technologies and protocols implemented in different programming languages. To continue providing high-quality solutions, we rely on a creative and purpose-driven team that collects performance data efficiently and reliably.

Please note: We can only consider applications from permanent residents of Czechia. We offer full-time employment contracts only; B2B or freelancing models are not available.

YOUR TASKS

• Work in a small, agile team contributing directly to product development.
• Develop new features and components for our sensors in C++ and Python across platforms.
• Migrate existing features and sensors from our legacy codebase to our modern architecture.
• Contribute ideas and implement them in coordination with your team and the product owner.
• Ensure high code and product quality.
• Support ongoing work on existing Delphi code and new developments in Rust if necessary.
• Assist the technical support team with 3rd-level cases as needed.

YOUR PROFILE

• Experience working in small, agile teams contributing directly to product development.
• Proficiency in developing features in C++ and Python across platforms.
• Experience migrating features from legacy systems to modern architectures.
• Ability to contribute ideas and work collaboratively with teams and product owners.
• Responsibility for maintaining high standards of code and product quality.
• Supportive skills in working with Delphi and Rust if necessary.
• Willingness to assist with 3rd-level technical support cases.
