Job summary

Une entreprise leader dans le domaine des technologies recherche un Développeur Logiciel Senior Back End pour travailler sur des systèmes mainframe. Le candidat idéal devra avoir une expertise dans les outils IBM et les transactions PL/I, ainsi qu'une expérience en architecture client/serveur. Ce contrat de 9 mois, avec possibilité d'extension, se déroulera dans un environnement hybride. Qualifications

Job description

Role: Software Developer - Back End - Senior
Location: 87 Sir William Hearst Ave., Toronto, ON, (Hybrid)
Duration: 9 Months Contract With 12 Month possible extension.

IBM mainframe tools 15%

• Experience with z/OS V2.2 or higher
• Expertise using file and database management tools (either File Aid V10.1 or higher, or IBM File Manager V13.1 or higher)
• Expertise using mainframe IBM Debug Tool V13.1 or higher.
• Expertise using failure diagnostic tools (either Abend Aid V12.4 or higher, or IBM Fault Analyzer V13.1 or higher)
• Experience with IBM Sort utility (DFSORT)

IBM mainframe DBs, APIs, mainframe source control, mainframe batch 20%

• Experience with IMS DB V12 or higher (HALDB and DEDB) using the PLITDLI API.
• Experience with DB2 for z/OS V11 or higher
• Experience in Endevor source control tool
• Experience in writing checkpoint restart able IMS BMPs

Client/Server Architecture 10%

• 5+ years of experience writing mainframe PL/I transactions that process XML input and produce XML output and are able to consume
• 10+ years’ experience in designing and developing windows client application interacting with IMS TM applications.

Programming Languages 25%

• Recent experience in using PL/I V4.5 or higher within the last 5 years.
• Fujitsu Net COBOL V4 or higher
• 10+ years’ experience in programming and analysis.

Public Sector Experience 5%

• Knowledge of driver licensing and transportation safety policies around the Vehicle Registration line of business.
• Experience working in accordance with policies and procedures of public sector

Screen Handling 10%

• Experience with mainframe Screen Handling (MFS)
• Experience with windows workstation Screen Handling Software (SCREENIO)

Windows workstation tools 10%

• Visual Studio 2008 or higher
• Visual Studio Debugger
• Harvest Source Control V12.5 or higher

Connectivity 5%

• Experience scripting for SFTP (preferably in a mainframe environment)

Must have:
