Description

Responsibilities:

• Translate technical system specifications into working, tested applications, including developing detailed programming specifications, coding, compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.
• Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems during software use and operation, including providing technical assistance during implementation, conversion, and migrations.

• Experience in programming, analysis, and supporting specialized software packages.
• Ability to collaborate with IT professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Experience in structured development, design, implementation, and maintenance of applications.
• Proficiency in design, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting applications.

• Experience with relational and hierarchical databases and information retrieval packages.

• Advanced knowledge of systems design, configuration, integration, security, and programming concepts.

Technical Skills and Experience - 35%

• Knowledge of UI/UX and accessibility best practices, including AODA.
• Knowledge of SOA, microservices, web services, standards (REST, JSON, SOAP).
• Understanding of IT security practices (OAuth 2, SAML).
• Experience with SDLC, Agile, source control, DevOps, CI/CD tools (Git, Azure DevOps, Jira).
• Experience with relational and spatial databases.
• Experience deploying complex, scalable enterprise systems.

Soft Skills - 20%
