Job summary

Circle Cardiovascular Imaging is seeking a Software Developer to design and build the next generation cardiovascular post-processing software. You will develop GUI/workflows, backend services, and post-processing algorithms, collaborating with a team of developers, architects, and QA engineers to ensure high-quality software products.

You will contribute to cloud-native medical imaging solutions, migrate existing desktop workflows to cloud, and work with Go, Docker, Kubernetes, and SaaS

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of software development experience or equivalent project work.
  • Experience with Go, web protocols, and backend optimization.
  • Experience migrating desktop apps to cloud and working with SaaS.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain medical imaging software on a cloud platform.
  • Write reusable, readable, and scalable code; drive quality software delivery.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and QA to ensure timely delivery.

Position Overview:

The Software Developer is responsible for the development of the next generation cardiovascular post-processing software and the maintenance of our existing revenue-driving products. The Software Developer will design and develop various components of the software including application graphical user interface/workflows, back-end server functionalities, and other post-processing algorithms. Throughout the software development cycle, this role will work closely with other software developers, architects, and quality assurance analysts as a team to ensure delivery of quality software products.

The Software Developer will report to the Software Development Manager.

General Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, maintain, and improve medical imaging software on a cloud platform
  • Writing reusable, readable, testable, scalable, and efficient code
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 3-5 years of work experience in software development and/or considerable project experience
  • Experience in Go, web protocols and web server optimization techniques
  • Experience with migrating desktop applications to cloud
  • Experience with public cloud platform s, such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience in containerization with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience working on a SaaS application
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages such as C++, C#, or Java
  • Experience with graphics rendering on cloud applications considered an asset
  • Experience with DICOM protocol and images considered an asset

Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum technical diploma in computing science or related field
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent
