Job summary

Circle Cardiovascular Imaging, Calgary-based, is seeking a Platform Software Developer to help design, develop, and maintain the next generation of intelligent imaging applications within cvi42 and related platforms. Hybrid work arrangements suit flexible schedules.

You will collaborate with software engineers, architects, QA, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions that integrate NLP, conversational interfaces, and AI workflows in healthcare environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with AI-enabled apps, NLP, or intelligent automation.
• Experience building backend services and APIs.
• Experience with JSON/XML data formats.
• Experience with CI/CD and production support.
• Knowledge of secure software design and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cloud platform integrations and APIs.
• Develop software components for intelligent product capabilities across cvi42.
• Contribute to natural language processing and agentic AI features.
• Develop reusable, scalable code across desktop, backend, and platform environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into designs.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with security and privacy in healthcare environments.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
