Job summary

Circle Cardiovascular Imaging seeks a Software Developer to build the next generation cardiovascular post-processing software and maintain existing revenue-driving products. You will design UI/workflows, backend server functionalities, and post-processing algorithms as part of a collaborative team.

The role reports to the Software Development Manager and offers a flexible, innovative, and performance-driven environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software development experience or equivalent project experience.
• Proficient in Go, web protocols and web server optimization.
• Experience migrating desktop apps to cloud environments.
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Hands-on containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience building SaaS applications.
• Familiar with object-oriented languages (C++, C#, Java).
• Graphics rendering on cloud apps is a plus.
• DICOM protocol/images experience is an asset.

Position Overview:

The Software Developer is responsible for the development of the next generation cardiovascular post-processing software
and the maintenance of our existing revenue-driving products. The Software Developer will design and develop various components of the software including application graphical user interface/workflows, back-end server functionalities, and other post-processing algorithms. Through out the software development cycle, this role will work closely with other software developers, architects, and quality assurance analysts as a team to ensure delivery of quality software products.

The Software Developer will report to the Software Development Manager.

General Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and improve medical imaging software on a cloud platform
• Writing reusable, readable, testable, scalable, and efficient code
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables

Required Skills/Experience:

• 3-5 years of work experience in software development and/or considerable project experience
• Experience in Go, web protocols and web server optimization techniques
• Experience with migrating desktop applications to cloud
• Experience with public cloud platform s, such as AWS or Azure
• Experience in containerization with Docker
  and Kubernetes
• Experience working on a SaaS application
• Familiarity with

  bject-oriented
  programming languages such as C++, C#, or Java
• Experience with graphics rendering on cloud applications considered an asset
• Experience with DICOM protocol and images considered an asset

Educational Requirements:

• Minimum technical diploma in computing science or related field
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent
