Software Developer

We're looking for a Software Developer to design, build, and maintain desktop applications using C# and .NET. In this role, you'll work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, high-quality software solutions. You'll participate in Agile planning, manage tasks through Azure DevOps, and contribute to code reviews and continuous improvement efforts. This is a hands-on role with real impact-perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The Successful Candidate's Responsibilities Will Include

• Develop and maintain desktop applications using C# and the .NET framework.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and refine software requirements.
• Participate in planning meetings to translate business needs into functional technical solutions.
• Manage and maintain a Kanban board in Azure DevOps, applying Agile methodologies to prioritize and track progress.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues in collaboration with the QA team.
• Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and knowledge sharing.
• Create efficient, scalable, and reliable software solutions that meet business objectives.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in software development, particularly in desktop application development.
• Continuously contribute to the improvement of development processes, tools, and team collaboration.

The Ideal Candidate For This Position Will Have

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in .NET and C# development, especially for desktop applications.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps (Kanban boards, work tracking).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good understanding of software design principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
