Connex Personnel is currently seeking a Software Developerfor a contract position within the utilities sector.

The Software Developer responsibilities will include:

- Design, develop, and maintain applications using the .NET framework.

- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code in languages like C#, HTML and VB.NET.

- Design and build interactive web applications using Microsoft Blazor.

- Design and develop custom business applications using Microsoft Power Apps.

- Integrate Power Apps with other Microsoft services like Power Automate and SharePoint.

- Identify and resolve technical issues in collaboration with other software developers and stakeholders.

- Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and functionality.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation for developed applications.

- Manage the deployment of applications and updates.

- Other duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience requirements.

- Minimum education level of a University Degree or equivalent College diploma with combined work experience.

- Proficiency in .NET.

- Strong understanding of C# and VB.NET.

- Expertise in Microsoft Blazor

- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development

- Ability to design and develop custom business applications using Power Apps.

- Experience with integrating Power Apps with other Microsoft services like Power Automate and SharePoint

- Proficiency in SQL Server.

- Ability to design and manage database schemas.

- Experience with Microsoft Azure for deploying, managing, and scaling applications.

- Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems for code management.

Anticipated Start Date: June 30, 2025

Estimated duration / End date: End date currently estimated to be June 30, 2026, with an option to extend for an additional term of up to 3 years.
