Frequentis Canada, based in Gatineau, Quebec, seeks a dynamic Software Developer to join our team. You will design, develop, and maintain products used in Air Traffic Management communication systems, focusing on high availability, real-time constraints, and usability.

The position is based in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada, and is open to Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents, and foreign workers with a valid Canadian Work Permit.

Key Tasks

• Design and implement software applications
• Create and maintain software following development processes
• Analyze problem reports to identify and fix errors
• Develop software test plans
• Complete tasks on time, within quality standards and budget

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• 0-3+ years of software development experience
• Experience with Object-Oriented, N-Tier Architecture, Embedded / Real-time development
• Proficiency in Java, C++, C
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python
• Experience with Version Control Systems like Subversion / Git
• Knowledge of Networking protocols and tools: TCP, UDP, RTP, Wireshark
• Experience with Microservices, Docker, Containers
• Bilingual in English and French is an asset
