Job summary

Camfil Power Systems in Laval is seeking a Software Developer to partner with business stakeholders, assess needs, and guide scalable technology decisions. This role includes deploying and maintaining Power BI dashboards for the business unit.

You will build full-stack applications using Python, React and TypeScript, develop data pipelines, and ensure secure integration of AI services, APIs, and data sources, collaborating with IT architects and data teams.

The Software Developer is a hands‑on technical leader responsible for partnering directly with business stakeholders to assess needs, identify opportunities, and recommend appropriate technology solutions and services. This role evaluates off‑the‑shelf platforms versus custom‑developed solutions, guiding decision‑making on the most effective and scalable approach In addition to software development, some solutions will involve deploying and maintaining PowerBI dashboards for the business unit.

Software development:

• Collaborate and coordinate with business representatives and the IT architect team to understand and contribute to the definition of the needs.
• Build and maintain full-stack applications using Python, React, and TypeScript
• Build data pipelines and support analytics or machine learning workloads under established standards.
• Apply secure coding practices when integrating AI services, APIs, and data sources in enterprise environments.
• Maintain and improve existing tools

PowerBI:

• Act as the primary owner of Power BI development across functions
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports for business stakeholders

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability across reports

Are you THE person we are looking for?

• Experience with PowerBI, including dashboard development and solid knowledge of SQL database.
• English spoken and written, other languages will be considering an asset
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure is a significant advantage
