Job summary

Pattison Food Group Ltd. in Langley, BC is hiring a full-time Software Developer to cover the complete lifecycle of information systems from requirements through design and development.

You will implement, test, and maintain systems, and improve efficiency and productivity across IT operations. You will write, modify, test, and maintain code, support production systems, and work with Analysts and Business Users to convert specifications into technical designs.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in computer science or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of software programming/development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java EE application servers such as JBoss.
• Proven ability to use unit test frameworks (JUnit).
• Experience in RESTful services, web services, and standalone applications.
• Experience with integration, API management/gateways, and microservices patterns.
• Hands-on experience using CI/CD tools, such as GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of OOAD and design patterns.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
• Proven ability to use JavaScript frameworks and technologies, such as React and Node.js.
• Experience with Blue Yonder products is an asset.
• Azure Cloud, Informatica IICS, or CA API Gateway is an asset.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools is an asset.
