About the Role

How you will contribute

1. Concentrate on front-end development with usability and reusability geared toward the system user.
2. Understand full stack development of a global application.
3. Understand the business area and user requirements.
4. Develop new and support current user-facing features, determine the structure and design usability of the pages, utilize reusable code, and optimize page response times.
5. Perform program design, coding, development, unit, and integration testing.
6. Ability to program applications and integrate complex business logic according to a given design specification.
7. Produce high-quality software solutions within time and budget.
8. Maintain a close working relationship with the Analyst Team to create and sustain a cohesive support structure for business needs.

What you will bring

Extensive Experience in:

1. Application server knowledge with JBOSS, Tomcat, or Weblogic.
2. PostgreSQL PL/pgSQL development including stored procedures, triggers, query tuning, and database performance optimization.
3. Practical use of application reporting tools like JasperSoft or BIRT.
4. Java build process and tools including Ant or Maven.
5. Functional testing and verification of application code.
6. Delivering well-documented technical solutions within time, cost, and functionality constraints.
7. Experience and troubleshooting skills for web-based applications.
8. Java, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Servlets, JSP, EJB, JDBC, JavaBeans, Restful Webservices.
9. Experience with Java IDEs like IntelliJ or Eclipse.
10. Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.

Salary Range: $68,600-$85,700 CAD

This reflects the anticipated base salary range based on current data. Minimums and maximums may vary by location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
