Job summary

Red Rhino Networks, based in Abbotsford, BC, is seeking a Software Developer to design backend integrations and automate workflows using C#, REST APIs, PowerShell, and Azure. You will work on internal tooling and client-facing projects to solve business IT problems.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field and at least 2 years of C# experience, plus hands-on REST API, JSON, Git, and MongoDB proficiency. Growth and learning are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in software development using C#.
• Minimum 1 year of experience using Jinja2 templating within automation workflows.
• Experience using Git in collaborative development environments.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and processing JSON data in production environments.
• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend integration solutions using C# and API-based architectures.
• Develop and maintain automation workflows integrating systems and cloud-based services (including Microsoft Azure).
• Integrate REST APIs with existing tools.
• Work with and maintain MongoDB.
• Assist with creating process, documentation and requirements for the PowerShell scripts.

We are currently hiring for a software developer. This person will improve internal tooling by integrating tools via REST APIs, PowerShell scripts and C# coding. In addition, you may be working on client facing projects leveraging your development skill set.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional certifications and/or relevant work experience
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in software development using C#
• Minimum 1 year of experience using Jinja2 templating within automation workflows
• Experience using Git in collaborative/team-based development environments
• Demonstrated experience integrating REST APIs and processing JSON data in production environments
• Experience working with MongoDB or other NoSQL database systems
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud environments

Preferred:

• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI and DAX)
• Familiarity with AI development platforms or cloud-based AI tooling (e.g., Azure AI Foundry)
• Familiarity with Windows 11 environments
• Familiarity with Entra Active Directory (Azure AD)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API
