Job Responsibilities

1. Execute regression testing on Fortinet-based products using manual and automation techniques.
2. Work closely with developers to understand new features.
3. Create and execute test specifications and test cases.
4. Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with developers to ensure proper resolution.
5. Perform feature testing on a 0-day malware detection product.

Experience and Qualifications

• Experience in software testing.
• Degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or related field.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, routing, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching.
• Knowledge of QA procedures, methodologies, and software development fundamentals.
• Experience with configuring, installing, and troubleshooting server software and hardware in Windows and Unix environments.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong skills in writing clear problem reports and test results.
• Knowledge of EXSI, KVM, HyperV, Linux, Sniff, or Ethereal is a plus.
• Scripting skills in Python or Shell are assets.
• Database knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of public cloud platforms is preferred.

Additional Information

The salary range for this full-time position in Canada is $75,000 - $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Fortinet offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, RRSP, and more. Bonus eligibility is reviewed at hire and annually.
