Participate in preliminary and critical system design reviews.
Prepare or contribute to program software and electronic hardware certification plans.
Evaluate supplier's software and electronic (FPGA, ASIC, PLD) designs.
Conduct technical and process audits.
Perform safety of flight reviews.
Assess software and electronic hardware life cycle data to ensure compliance to standards.
Support and coordinate the resolution of safety, compliance, or technical deficiencies with suppliers and other program stakeholders.
Prepare and/or review design compliance reports.
Qualifications:
University engineering degree in Avionics, Electronics, Software, or equivalent.
Strong experience with DO-178B/C and DO-254.
Strong experience working on electronics/hardware and software projects in avionics.
Proficient in software programming languages (C, C++, Ada95, Assembly, Python, etc.) and multiple hardware description languages (VHDL, Verilog, etc.).
