Job summary

Giant Tiger in Winnipeg, MB is seeking a motivated team member for a full-time cashier/retail associate role. You’ll handle transactions, replenish shelves, and help maintain attractive, accurate signage and merchandising at the checkout area.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring a high level of customer service.
• Accurately record customer transactions in electronic cash register, mainline and self checkouts (SCOs).
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area.
• Follow up on hot selling items and complete markdowns and SKU changes as needed.
• Maintain planograms, labels, tickets and signing standards.
• Perform cycle counts as required.
• Ensure compliance of all policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery.
• Ensure health and safety policies and guidelines are followed.
• Keep checkout area clean and organized.
• Follow loss prevention best practices.
