Position Summary
Reporting to the Clinical Manager for IWK School Mental Health Services, the school-based clinician will work as part of the SchoolsPlus team to deliver diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultation services to children/youth, families, and staff within designated schools.
The clinician will practice the principles of CAPA (Choice and Partnership Approach), focusing on early identification and intervention for mental health and addictions issues, providing individual and group therapies, referrals, reintegration support, and education to school staff. Services will be provided throughout the year, including summer and holidays, based on needs.
Hours of Work
37.5 hours weekly, Monday-Friday, with flexibility depending on caseload.
