Job summary

Scarborough Health Network, located at our General Site, seeks a Social Worker with MSW to join the Cardiac & Stroke program. You will provide care to diverse patients, perform psychosocial assessments, and assist with discharge planning within a busy hospital setting.

Requirements include an MSW degree, registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, and hospital experience. Excellent crisis intervention and teamwork are essential qualities for this role.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Manager of the assigned unit, you will be responsible for providing care and service to a diverse patient population within your designated program. Professionals in this role support individuals and families across various clinical areas and departments throughout the hospital.
